Classes & Activities

A membership to the FLC grants you access to a variety of group fitness classes and activities. These are designed to provide you with a safe, effective and fun workout and are offered at a variety of fitness levels.

 We now offer childcare on Monday & Wednesday 8AM-11AM for children that are potty trained to 5 years old.  This is for those that are taking a fitness class or working out in the gym.  Cost is $10 an hour.

Body Sculpt & Tone

A total body workout that incorporates re-sistance bands, hand weights, and many other athletic tools.

Cardio Combo

Keep those muscles guessing! Each class will offer a different form of cardio. High-Low, Step, Boxing, and Instructor’s Choice. Good for all experience and age levels.

Core Class

Core exercises strengthen the muscles that support and stabilize your spinal cord in movement, pos-ture and balance. The workouts include basic stretching, standing/balancing exercises, and will conclude with floor exercises focusing on abs and quads.

Yoga Flow

The perfect class for increasing flexibility and balance by using slow movements and stretch-ing. It is also good for relieving stress and re-laxing. 

Pilates/Ball

Pilates is designed to strengthen the whole body. The emphasis is on relaxed and rhyth-mic breathing while performing smooth, coordinated movements. Movements, de-signed to strengthen and tone the entire body. There is virtually no impact on the joints and bones.

Power Pump

Tone and strengthen those muscles! Through repetition, you will get a total body workout. This class goes at your pace and is great for any level of experience.

Step

Thirty minutes of high-energy step aerobics training.

Stretch and Balance

Increase range of motion while maintaining core stability. Balanced exercise and isometric stretches will be incorporated in the class.

T’ai Chi Chuan

T’ai Chi Chuan 1 Beginner
Beginners will be introduced to the basic foundations of Tai Chi. Movements are done at slow speed requiring concentration. Class will learn and execute, 8 pieces of Brocade, 8 step Yang style Tai Chi and 24 step Tai Chi Chuan.

T’ai Chi Chuan 2 Advanced
Advanced students will build on the skills they have learned in TC-1. You will be introduced to different breathing exercises and will learn the 42 step Tai Chi Chuan routine.

Cardio Burn (Pop-Up Class June 9th)

Done to fun music, this class incorporates short bursts of strength training to boost your metabolism while working through multiple joint movements and full body exercises!  All fitness levels welcomed.

Country Line Dance (Pop-Up Class July 7th)

Done to some of the most popular country western songs, this class will use popular western dance steps to get your heart pumping and your mind thinking.  Learn the “two-step”, “electric slide” and line dance, fitness at its funnest!  All fitness levels welcomed!  Cowboy boots and hats are optional. 

Upper Body RX (Pop-Up Class September 8th)

This all level strength-building and muscle toning class features exercises using hand held weights targeting the upper arms, back and chest!
